Handmade Toy Denim Blue Whale (1)

Crafted from soft blue denim and beautiful printed cottons, this whale is completely handmade in my studio on the Isle of Wight. Although most of us would normally struggle to fit a Blue Whale into our homes, this Blue Whale is the absolute perfect size to sit on a sofa as a cushion, or on a bed as a pillow and is the absolute most perfect size for being hugged and taken on adventures! He might be blue in colour and blue by name, but there’s nothing blue about this whale’s personality, he’s the happiest whale out there.

My inspiration for all my creatures comes from my own childhood obsessions with nature and birds, The Famous Five and the wild Dungeness coastline. And in recent years by the incredible island I now call home.

I make creatures that will evoke childhood memories for grown up children and create childhood memories for the children of today.

Need To Know:

The whale is made from a printed cotton and 100% cotton denim (soft but hard wearing)
His eyes are embroidered wool felt and hand sewn on.
He has no hard parts.

He is stuffed with hypoallergenic stuffing.

From the tip of his nose to the end of his tale he is approximately 75cm long and 30cm high.

Because he is made of a combination of fabrics it’s best to only spot wash him, he may not have a whale of a time in the washing machine.
